Workshop Description

Suitable for beginners and anyone wanting to get back to their writing.  This creative writing workshop will use poems and exercises in an informal and supportive atmosphere, to stimulate writing. 

Workshop Dates

This workshop will be hosted in the Marketplace Theatre, Armagh on the following dates. Your £66 fee covers all three workshop sessions.

  • Monday 26th July 2021, 1430hrs to 1630hrs
  • Tuesday 27th July 2021, 1430hrs to 1630hrs
  • Thursday 29th July 2021, 1430hrs to 1630hrs

Tutor

Maureen Boyle

Maureen’s first collection, The Work of a Winter, published by Arlen House, was shortlisted for the Strong/Shine Poetry Prize in 2019.  Her single poem, Strabane, originally commissioned by BBC Radio 4, was published in 2020. Her poem, First Time, was one of ten prize winners in the 2021 Fish Poetry Prize.
