Join No Alibis Press to celebrate the launch of Still Worlds Turning, a collection of twenty original stories by celebrated and emerging writers from the UK, Ireland and beyond. Three contributing authors will read from and discuss their work, chaired by June Caldwell.
June Caldwell’s short story collection Room Little Darker was published in 2017 by New Island Books and by Head of Zeus in 2018. Her debut novel Little Town Moone is forthcoming from John Murray.
Gerard McKeown’s work has been featured in The Moth, 3:AM, and Litro, among others. In 2017 he was shortlisted for the Bridport Prize, and in 2018 he was longlisted for the Irish Book Awards’ Short Story of the Year.
Joanna Walsh is the author of seven books including the digital work, seed-story.com. Her latest book, Break.up, was published by Semiotext(e) and Tuskar Rock in 2018. Her work has appeared in The Dalkey Archive’s Best European Fiction, Granta Magazine, gorse, The Stinging Fly, The Guardian, The New Statesman, and The Los Angeles Review of Books.
Eley Williams’ Attrib. and other stories (Influx Press, 2017) was awarded the Republic of Consciousness Prize and the James Tait Black Memorial Prize 2018. With stories anthologised in The Penguin Book of the Contemporary British Short Story (Penguin Classics, 2018) and Liberating the Canon (Dostoevsky Wannabe, 2018), she is a Fellow of the MacDowell Colony and the Royal Society of Literature.
