Our Literary Lunchtimes will give you an opportunity to hear great, International writers read and talk about their work in a relaxed, informal setting. They'll be a chance to ask questions and find out a little more about their journey as writers.
Mia Gallagher was born in Dublin, where she lives and works as a novelist, short-story writer and professional actor. Her novels are HellFire (Penguin, 2006), and Beautiful Pictures of the Lost Homeland (New Island, 2016).
Kerry Hudson was born in Aberdeen. Her novel, TONY HOGAN BOUGHT ME AN ICE-CREAM FLOAT BEFORE HE STOLE MY MA was published in 2012 by Chatto & Windus (Penguin Random House) and won the Scottish First Book Award. Kerry founded The WoMentoring Project and has written for Grazia, Guardian Review, Observer New Review and the Metro newspaper.
